When I tell people what I do for a living, I always get the same question... "How in the world did you end up THERE??" Well, it's simple really... dumb luck!

Most people spend most of their lives trying to find themselves. I was lucky enough to stumble upon myself early on when I accidentally tumbled headfirst into the world of radio. Believe it or not, none of this was an on purpose thing. I started my radio career as a receptionist in a radio station in 1999, and believe it or not, I actually turned DOWN the job on the first offer!! I was "thisclose" to missing out on everything I never knew I wanted in a career! The accidental part came when I was innocently asked to voice a female part in a spot for a local dealership... and the rest, as they say, was history! I ran the gammet of production assistant to spot scheduling to community calendar girl to fill in and weekend radio personality before I finally landed as a morning show co-host on Bear country 95.3 FM with Kevin Collins where I finally had my radio "ah-ha!" moment. This was where I belonged... this was my "niche"!! After a slight derailment in my calling, I have finally found my way back into the bosom of the industry... and all I had to do was stalk my brother's neighbor till he finally got scared enough to cave! Hey, it was either a job offer or a restraining order, and there was far less paperwork involved in just giving me the job!!

I'm so happy to be back where I belong and working with the best people! Yes... even Steve! Can't wait to see what my future holds!
