Please Help Baby Sailor & Her Parents

Sailor (2)

This particular story is very close to my heart. My cousin Makenzie Phippard and her boyfriend Carmen Berardi welcomed their beautiful daughter Sailor into the world on June 20th. They were unaware that Sailor was going to have health challenges until Makenzie was 8 months along, which isn’t very much time to prepare mentally or financially.

As a mother, I know that I worry when my daughter even gets the smallest of injuries. To know from the start that your child will face major health issues is every parent’s worst nightmare.

Sailor was born with heart issues along with other health concerns that are being addressed by her doctors. Needless to say they have a long road ahead. She will be needing surgery soon, just not sure when. Her parents will be moving over to David’s House. While there, they have no income coming in. Once she does come home she will need to go back and forth to Lebanon or Boston depending on where heart surgery is done.

We have set up an account through Go Fund Me, where donations can be made. We just want them to worry about Sailor getting the care she needs and for them to not have to be worrying about where they will find money for necessities. They also have a young son Camden that they are trying to keep life “normal” for during this time. The funds raised will provide help with food while at David’s house, gas, expenses etc…

From the bottom of my heart and from my family, thank you so much for helping out with our little miracle, Sailor Nova Berardi. Please feel free to pass the information along.

Check them out when you get a minute and let me know what you think!

He told his father the drawing was of Lucy in the sky with diamonds.
