April is Fill the Kennel Month at Fast Friends Greyhound Adoption. Twice a year Fast Friends asks the community to donate supplies for the organization, with the goal being to fill up the kennel in the lobby of their Adoption Center.
Kennel supplies and office supplies are needed: Rawhide Chews, Postage stamps, Bleach, Scented Dryer Sheets, Toilet Paper, Greenies (Large Dog), Magic Erasers, #10 Envelopes, Paper Towels, Copy Paper, Liquid Dish Detergent, Laundry Soap, Grocery Store Gift Cards, Liquid Hand Soap Post-its, Trash Bags (Kitchen and Contractor Sizes), Dog Toys, Milk Bones, Poop Bags, Peanut Butter, Pill Pockets, Swiffer Duster Refills, Fleece Blankets.
Donations can be dropped off at Fast Friends, 14 W. Swanzey Road, Swanzey (across from Market Basket) weekdays from 7am – 6pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 9am – 3pm. Fast Friends and the greyhounds thank you!

This auction will feature hundreds of valuable items and services donated locally and from across New England.

The Savings Bank of Walpole will hold a free Fiscally Fit Seminar about Medicare Basics, Eligibility, Coverage options and Benefits on Tuesday April 21 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at their Marlboro Street branch, located at 84 Marlboro Street.

Fast Friends will be holding its first yard sale of the season on Saturday, April 25th from 8am – 2pm at their facility located at 14 West Swanzey Road, in Swanzey (across from Market Basket).
All donated items at this sale are new this year, nothing leftover from last year. The sale will be held rain or shine and all proceeds from this event go directly toward caring for the greyhounds.

There will be a Rabies Clinic and Indoor Yard Sale to benefit Project Graduation on Saturday, April 25th at the Monadnock Regional High School.
The Rabies Clinic is $20 each pet and will run from 9am to Noon.
The Indoor Yard sale will run from 9am to 2pm.
