Cover Cropping and No-till Workshop

October 24, 2014 - 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm at The Student Conservation Association

suggested donation of $10.00, but no one will be turned away for inability to pay.

Joel Myers is a lifetime farmer, no-till and cover-cropping specialist, and retired NRCS PA state Agronomist. He is coming to New Hampshire to talk with farms about cover cropping and no-till practices. This workshop will contain an indoor discussion portion on no-till, and cover cropping. There will be a presentation and opportunity for farmers to ask specific questions about their fields, crops, and current or future management methods. The outdoor portion will include equipment demonstrations of the no-till seeder.

On October 25th, 2014, Halloween comes early in Walpole when the Walpole Village School is transformed into a haunted village that will inspire your childhood spirit to wake from the dead!

Tickets are $10 for children over 1 year, and $5.00 for adults (*which you can use towards your entrance fee for Spooktacula at night).
