The Peterborough Players are holding a summer car raffle to help raise operating funds for the award-winning, non-profit professional theatre located in Southern New Hampshire.

Consumers can buy Peterborough Players 2015 Super Summer Raffle tickets for a chance to win a brand new 2015 chili red MINI Cooper Convertible valued at over $28,000. Tickets cost $100 each. They can be bought at the theatre or online at

Concerts on the Green- Every Sunday

Savings Bank of Walpole is pleased to announce the dates and bands scheduled to perform at the annual “Concerts on the Green” summer concert series held on the town green in Walpole, New Hampshire. 

The concert series will happen every Sunday through August 16. All of the performances will take place from 6:30-8:00 PM and will be held rain or shine.

Adult Co-ed Kickball League

The Keene Parks and Recreation Department, announces a fall season of Adult Co-ed Kickball league.

This program will start on September 13th and will be played on Sunday mornings for 7 weeks including playoffs. The league is designed for adults to have fun while increasing their physical activity.

The deadline for rosters and league fee of $125 is due Tuesday, September 8th at 5:00PM at the Recreation Center, 312 Washington Street, in Keene. Rosters can be downloaded by visiting

A league meeting will be held on September 8th at 5:00PM at the Recreation Center. League Rules will be distributed at the meeting to the team captains.

Volunteers Needed- Day of National Service & Remembrance

On Friday, September 11, 2015 Monadnock RSVP Volunteer Center & The Monadnock United Way will carry out a Day of Caring and The National Day of Service and Remembrance event, to provide support to veterans and immediate military family members throughout the Monadnock Region by sending teams of volunteers to complete home repairs, weatherization, safety, and seasonal projects.

Keene Youth Soccer League Sign ups

The Keene Parks and Recreation Center runs a non-competitive youth soccer league at Wheelock Park. Signups are happening NOW through 5pm on Wednesday, September 2nd.
