Weekend Warriors

gregGreg Pregent
Hello!, I’m one of the new DJ’s here at WKNE, but have been involved in radio since I was in High School. I’m a local who went to Keene schools and Keene State College. I needed some adventure in my life after school so I moved to Colorado to be a ski bum for about 10 years, where I worked at a National Public Radio station in Crested Butte.
I moved back to New Hampshire and ended up getting a job here at the radio station.

You can catch me filling in during the week and on the weekends!!

In my limited spare time I dabble in antiques( I have a NH auctioneer license also), plus bike and hike the many great trails and mountains in the area!

I first came to KNE FM, in 1991-92 and stayed for the rest of the decade. I was the overnight disc jockey 12-midnight to 6am and had the 3am-All Request Hour which was wonderfully wild, with the listener call in requests.
WKNE is where I met and got to work with my hero, Wolfman Jack!

I started in radio as a disc jockey at a small AM-station in Gardner Mass. And have been on the air in Worcester, Mass., Manchester, NH, the NH Seacoast, and Brattleboro VT.

I was also one of the first disc jockeys to be heard on the original WINQ-FM, soft-rock at the time and then oldies, when it first went on the air in Winchendon, Mass.

I was born and raised in Winchendon Mass and attended Mt. Wachusett Community College and now live in Swanzey , for the past 18-years, with my wife and Chocolate Lab. We have one child, a grown son, great daughter-in-law, and two beautiful grandchildren!
