KEENE, NH – After some back and forth the Keene Pumpkin Festival is back on.

In a statement on social media the Keene Pumpkin Fest said due to the overwhelming response from the public regarding the decision by the Let it Shine Board of Directors to postpone this years event, organizer’s have decided to partner with the Downtown Business Group to provide a small-scale version.

The sidewalk festival has been dubbed the “Gathering of the Gourds” and won’t include any street closures or scaffolding towers of pumpkins.

The event was originally slated for October 22, 2022, but was cancelled after two key members of the Let it Shine board stepped down for personal reasons.

Further information regarding the exact scale of the event and the logistics will be released as the groups can meet and make final decisions.
