KEENE, NH – The Keene Police Department has given the all clear following an incident near Keene State College Thursday.

Around 11:45 Thursday morning an emergency notification was sent to the college community saying that Campus Safety had received reports that a male with a transport belt, traditionally used for prisoner transports, and a single handcuff attached was running down Winchester Street towards the KSC Campus.

Local law enforcement responded to the area, and about 20 minutes later another notification was sent, saying that Campus Safety had received word from Keene Police that all subjects in custody have been accounted for in the region, and advised that there was no longer a threat to the local community.

This is a developing story, any updates will be posted here.
