  • A woman in Baton Rouge was trapped in her car by the flooding on Saturday, and was about to drown when four guys in a boat heard her crying for help.  Eventually one of them jumped in and pulled her out as the car sank . . . and he saved her DOG too.

  • Here’s an unbelievably sad story that shows just how important the police are to all of us.  An officer in Franklin, Ohio came across a seven-year-old boy wandering the streets by himself . . . trying to sell his teddy bear, to get money for food.  He said he hadn’t eaten in a few days.  So the officer took him to Subway and ate with him, and then took him to the station to get help.
  • The actor who played R2-D2 died over the weekend.  His name is Kenny Baker, and he was 81 years old.  He played R2 in the original trilogy and the prequels, and he also played Paploo the Ewok in “Return of the Jedi”.

  • A guy in Alabama has been stealing cheap beer from stores by dressing up as a beer delivery guy . . . he just fills up a delivery cart and wheels it out the door.  The cops are trying to track him down.
