Short and Sweet- what you need to know about Apple Watch

1.  They’re not the first company to introduce a smart watch, just like they weren’t the first to introduce a tablet or an mp3 player . . . but as always, if anyone is going to make something BETTER, more viable, and MAINSTREAM, it’s Apple.

2.  The watch links to your iPhone and displays everything from your texts and emails to your photos and music.  You can use it for basically everything:  Making calls, following maps, reading news . . . and yes, checking the time.

3.  Apple is REALLY pushing the watch’s HEALTH features.  It works like an advanced pedometer that can sense when you’re exercising, tracks your workout goals, and tries to motivate you to move more and sit less.

4.  The watch also incorporates a new feature Apple is adding to its new iPhones . . . payments.  Stores are going to start having sensors that let you pay by just swiping your watch . . . which is securely linked to your credit card.

5.  The Apple Watch will start at $349 . . . but it doesn’t go on sale until the beginning of next year.
