KNE Clips –

  • Hope Solo was filming a documentary last week when she found out she was suspended from U.S. soccer.  She didn’t take the news too well.

  • Phil Collins made a comeback at the U.S. Open on Monday night.  It was the first time he’s played live in almost ten years. His brief set began with “In the Air Tonight,” featuring longtime Genesis touring guitarist Daryl Stuermer, bassist Nathan East, keyboardist Brad Cole and his 15-year-old son Nicholas on drums. Extensive nerve damage has made it nearly impossible for Phil to play drums at this point, but his skills clearly passed down to the next generation and Nicholas handles one of the most famous drum fills in rock history with ease.

Hollywood Trash –

  • Chris Brown was arrested last night in Los Angeles after a standoff at his house.  A woman accused him of pointing a gun at her late on Monday night, and the cops came and surrounded his house until they could get a warrant.  And while they were waiting outside, Chris was ranting on Instagram about how he was totally innocent.

Stupid News –

  • What’s in a name? Believe it or not, there’s a 48-year-old African American guy in Florida named Vladimir Putin . . . and he was arrested last week for trespassing at a grocery store.  He’ll be in court in a few weeks. Read it here!
