A huge mako shark jumped onto the DECK of a fishing boat off the coast of Long Island, and got WEDGED into the railing.  It was trying so hard to wriggle free that it bit down on the bars and started bleeding.  The fishermen decided to spare its life, so they tied its fin with some rope and maneuvered it back into the water.

A nine-year-old kid with Down syndrome is now an Internet star after his parents posted a clip of him singing along to Whitney Houston’s “I Have Nothing”.  He’s gotten about 18 million views on Facebook.  (His name is Dane Miller, and he lives in Texas.  A lot of the reason why it got so big was because of Dane’s facial expressions and hand gestures while he’s singing, so you have to watch it to get the full effect.)
